Mercifully these two don’t pretend to be friends. Of course, when asked direct questions about each other, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra — who bonded during Aitraaz and fell out over Shahid Kapoor — normally say innocuous things like, “Oh, we have no issues with each other. Blah, blah...”

But the fact remains that they do have very strong issues. And these came to the fore recently when Kareena bared her fangs on Koffee With Karan on Star World and said, “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from?” Not to be outdone, Priyanka who is coming on the same show shortly with none other than Shahid Kapoor, had people at the shoot in splits when she said, “I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend (Saif Ali Khan) got his.” PC reminded show host Karan Johar (and all those who tune in) that she, too, had studied overseas and therefore had access to an accent just like so many others in Bollywood. Of course, having been given the opportunity to take a dig at Bebo, Piggy Chops wasn’t going to let the opportunity pass with just one direct hit. Later, PC made it known that people in the industry didn’t take Kareena too seriously. “I’m flattered that Kareena thinks I am a good actress,”
she is said to have remarked. “But otherwise I don’t think people take Bebo too seriously,” is what PC reportedly said. And she
hit one final nail when she was asked what she would steal from computers of Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid, Kareena and others. Known for her smart alec replies, PC giggled, “Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?” Hmmm... one can see round two of this cat fight happening soon.

Priyanka turns 3 crore to dance on New Year’s eve

Even though she is being paid more than them, Priyanka Chopra is in no mood to join the bandwagon of Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat & Co. The actress has kicked a Rs 3 crore offer to shimmy at a 5-star hotel for this New Year’s Eve. This amount being offered to her is actually double of what she would demand for a role in a film (Rs 1.5 crore, at last count). The time it would take to earn this amount is as little as 3 hours of actual work. The schedule of a film is much longer, going into months. So why has Chops turned down such a profitable offer?
The answer is her diva image that she has been painstakingly building up over the last few years.
A source close to Priyanka told Mumbai Mirror, “A 5-star hotel in Andheri came up with an offer to Priyanka asking her to gyrate at the forthcoming New Year’s Eve. Priyanka turned them down politely.” Explaining why Priyanka declined, the source added, “Priyanka is very uncomfortable dancing in hotels in front of a live audience. She doesn’t get a very good feeling in doing such performances. Yes, Rs 3 crore is a very tempting amount. But despite the hotel officials coaxing her, Priyanka was adamant that she wouldn’t toe the line.” The actress remained unavailable for comment. Dirty dancing alone, Chops?

The Reason behind Priyanka Shahid's Break up

Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have reportedly called off their relationship, though their fans are still not sure about what kind of a relationship the duo shared!

According to reports circulating in the media, Shahid and Priyanka had come close to each other during the shooting of Kaminey.

However there was no commitment in the relationship and it was this fact which ultimately led to the couple's so-called break-up. But is it all so simple or is there somebody behind Shahid's and Priyanka's sudden decision to call off their relationship?

If reports are anything to go by, a certain Ranbir Kapoor, may be the man behind the collapse in the Shahid – Priyanka love story.

Though the couple is remaining tight-lipped, media speculations suggest that Shahid Kapoor was always uncomfortable about the growing closeness between girlfriend Priyanka and Ranbir Kapoor's during the filming of their recently released film Anjaana Anjaani.

Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, not only refused to put an end to her friendship with Ranbir Kapoor, but also went ahead and signed another film with the rising star.

Friends of the couple say that both Shahid and Priyanka have an opinion of their own and at this point of time in their career are not prepared to commit to a full-fledged relationship. Therefore, the best method that the duo could apply was to call off whatever they had between them and walk their separate ways.
