Deepika Padukone to sizzle in Item number
Just as Katrina Kaif set the screen on fire with her hit item number the Sheila Ki Jawani number in Tees Maar Khan, Deepika Padukone is also gearing up to don her dancing shoes for an item song.
After Zeenat Aman floored the audiences with her jhatakas in Dum Maro
Dum, it's this Deepika's turn to woo the audience with her moves. The actress will be seen shimmying to the remixed version of Dum Maro Dum. The song was originally picturised on Zeenat Aman and Dev Anand in the hit film Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
A source revealed to Mumbai Mirror, "This climax song will be shot at Mehboob studio, where a jungle set will be put up and will be choreographed by Ceaser. A lot of laser will be used. It will have a hip hop-cum-rave party set-up, but Deepika won't be seen as a hippie."
DeepikaDeepika has gone de-glam for her role in Khelen Hum Jee Jaan Sey, but she will set temperatures soaring with a glamorous avatar for the item song.

Sanjay Dutt to play the main villain in Agneepath remake
One film that has been in the news ever since its announcement has been the remake of Agneepath to be directed by debutant Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
By now its common knowledge that Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra star in the lead roles of this eagerly anticipated remake. However, the latest development is that besides Hrithik and Priyanka, Sanjay Dutt has also been signed for the film. Apparently, Sanjay would be playing the main villain in the remake (a role played by Danny Denzongpa in the original version)
It may be recalled that Hrithik and Sanju did clash with each other on-screen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Mission Kashmir almost 10 years ago. Now with Hrithik playing the hero and Sanju the villain, it would be interesting to witness this clash all over again.

Hrithik Roshan in Don 2?
This could be the coup of the season. After sharing screen space in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, strong rumours say that Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan will once again come together in Farhan Akhtar’s Don-2. The trade says that the two best friends, SRK and Duggu are going to be shooting a small portion of the spy thriller in Berlin. Hrithik has flown to Berlin on October 28 and he will be there till November 3. Everyone assumed that the light-eyed actor was only going to be in Berlin for SRK’s birthday celebrations. Now we hear that Duggu may be shooting for a cameo in Don-2.

Anil Kapoor to do Mission Impossible 4
Anil Kapoor couldn’t wipe the grin off his face at Karan Johar’s fashion show in Mumbai on Thursday night. After “Slumdog Millionaire”, this is the biggest coup for this Kapoor.
Media reports confirm that Anil has been signed on for Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible 4”. The actor’s role is a secret at this point, but is a key one and may have dark shades of grey. Anil will be seen alongside Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg. Anil often says, “Someone up there is looking out for me.” Perhaps it is true. The “Slumdog Millionaire” actor, who won accolades for his portrayal of Omar Hassan in the tele-series “24” alongside Keifer Sutherland, now confirms, “I have been contacted for “Mission: Impossible 4” and I have said yes.” TNN

Kareena Kapoor to play Indhira Gandhi?
Kareena Kapoor might edge past Priyanka Chopra in the race to play Indira Gandhi in the muchawaited international biopic Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story.
The film’s Hollywood producers initially thought of approaching Priyanka, but it seems Oscar-winning make-up artistes Jenny Shircore and
Greg Connam, who are working closely on the project, are divided in their opinion.
A source working on the project reveals, “Veteran Hollywood scriptwriter Krishna Shah, who has also made films for Bollywood like Shalimar, wants to solve the mystery of which actress can look like Indira to play her on-screen. While Jenny — who won an Academy Award for her work in Elizabeth — had felt that Priyanka was the perfect choice, Greg — who has worked on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button — has now picked Kareena. The two are seriously looking over Kareena’s features for a near match before they approach her.”
Krishna told BT, “Directing is 80 per cent directing; in a biopic, it is 90 per cent. Can you imagine Gandhi without Ben Kingsley, or Nixon without Anthony Hopkins or Patton without George C. Scott? Indira’s film provides incredible scope for the make-up artistes.” On what they love about Kareena, who may have to go through three hours of prosthetics like Amitabh Bachchan in Paa and Shah Rukh Khan in Ra.One, Krishna adds, “She has a strong jaw and deep-set eyes and the time to apply the make-up will not be much. Indira at 20 will take about an hour; at 50, about two hours; and at 67, three hours because of the advancement in the art of make-up.”

Salman Khan to work in Partner 2
After much turmoil, David Dhawan’s Partner 2 is back on track. You heard it. Salman Khan and Govinda will play the leads. David Dhawan will direct the film and Sohail Khan will produce it. And the most interesting bit is that this news coincides with the huge box-office success of Dabangg .
Partner 2 was supposed to go on floors over a year ago but after Salman Khan’s relationship with both Govinda and David Dhawan reportedly went sour, the project was as good as shelved. It is only now that things are beginning to look up.
Not too long ago, it was reported that Salman had developed serious issues with both Govinda and Dhawan. Govinda was miffed that Salman had not lived up to his promise of helping him launch his daughter Narmada. Instead, Salman had gotten busy shooting for Dabangg and was concentrating on promoting Sonakshi Sinha
The revival of Partner 2 clearly implies that Salman has patched up with both Dhawan and Govinda. Does this mean that Narmada will soon make her first Bollywood splash now? We’ll wait and watch.
The Salman-Dhawan fallout was widely reported in November 2009. It mentioned that Salman, who was once at the helm of his career because of hits with Dhawan like Coolie No. 1, no longer wanted the director to make Sajid Nadiadwala’s film, Sanki. This was apparently because he was upset with Dhawan for not giving much attention to Partner 2 and instead working on Hook Ya Crook.
But that’s an old story now. Hook Ya Crook is stuck in its final stages. And more importantly, Sallu is on a new high with Dabangg having hit a jackpot at the box office. So, the resurrection of Partner 2 is obviously timed superbly well for Salman.
Confirming the story, a source close to Partner 2 says, “Sanjay Chhel is writing this film. I will mount the sets next year.”
But what remains to be seen is whether Katrina, who played the female lead in Partner, is re-cast in Partner 2.
When asked about the fallout with Salman, Dhawan told Mumbai Mirror yesterday evening, “Oh, that is all bakwaas. I have just come out from Salman’s house. Right now, Salman will be working on Bigg Boss 4. Then, he has Bodyguard. And only after that Partner 2 will start, sometime next year. And yes, Salman and Govinda are both doing the film. The rest of the cast is yet not decided.”
What’s decided though is that friends who had once turned foe are back together.

Pamela Anderson to do Big Boss 4
It’s a pity that singer Samantha Fox harks back to another era. For she too, like Pamela Anderson, could have been raking in the bucks—the Baywatch modelcum-actress, they say, has allegedly been offered to appear in Bigg Boss 4, based on the remarkably astounding fan following she enjoys among men in this nation.
International contestants have become a part of the Bigg Boss house since Season Two, starting with Jade Goody in Season Two (whose racial slur propelled Shilpa Shetty’s second innings in tinsel town) and Claudia Ciesla in Season Three (a German model of Polish descent).
A source says, “Talks are on with Pamela for the past one month. Bigg Boss is extremely keen on having her. Her most famous teleseries has the highest TRPs in Uttar Pradesh and the interiors. She will surely yield high TRPs if she is in the Bigg Boss house. Talks are at an advanced stage at present. Apparently, Anderson is asking for an astounding amount to be in the house. The logistics and monies have been worked out in order to have the international celebrity on the show. If all goes well, one will see her along with other Indian inmates. Pamela has had controversies, which will be a good talking point for contestants in the house.”
While the channel broadcasting the show refused to comment, when called, Deepak Dhar, country head of Endemol, the production house that produces the show, said, “I am not in a position to confirm or comment on the story.”
We didn’t feel the need to smother him any further.
