Deepika Padukone Cheers for Saina at CWG 2010

Deepika Padukone took a break from work to catch India’s Badminton superstar Saina Nehwals’s final match at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi last evening. The decision to watch the match was a last minute one. But Deepika did cancel all her meetings and appointments to fly all the way to Delhi to watch the match.
Our source said, “It is for the first
time that India has entered the final competition of Badminton at CWG and Deepika Padukone, who herself is an excellent badminton player, could not but go and witness this historic moment herself. Deepika wanted to cheer for Saina and that’s why she flew to Delhi.”
When contacted, Deepika confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I went to watch Saina’s final match.”
